One month official.
Three months real.

I've decided we're celebrating both.

ΠΩΣ ΑΡΧΙΣΕ — How it started

In early May an app put your face in front of mine and I swiped like it was nothing. It was not nothing.

On Tuesday the 19th of May we started talking, and then we didn't really stop. Three weeks later I was standing outside The Little Gem Under The Rocks in Kastraki at quarter past six in the evening, watching you walk toward me.

Three things landed in about four seconds: your style, your smile, and the kindness in your eyes. I have not revised that assessment once since.

What follows is all of it, in order — the first message to today. Turn the cards over. The real words are on the back.

The timeline

Twelve things that happened

ΤΑ ΛΟΓΙΑ ΣΟΥ — Your words

Things you actually said

Not paraphrased. Copied out, exactly as you sent them, because the way you say things is half of it.

The evidence

What I already love about you

In no order, because ranking them felt insane.

  • You genuinely try to understand me — even when I don't understand myself.
  • You hold space. You talk with me, not at me.
  • You forgive me while I'm still mid-figuring-it-out: about the future, about myself, about us.
  • You'll sit inside the hardest, least certain conversation and stay there until we're actually through it.
  • You're beautiful on the inside first. It leaks out everywhere — into how you treat people, into a room, into a photo.
  • You notice when I'm slightly off. Slightly. Nobody notices slightly.
  • You don't let things rot under the surface. You say the uncomfortable thing out loud.
  • You're smart and attentive in the same breath, which is rarer than either one alone.
  • You're family-shaped and nature-shaped, and your instincts are excellent — trust them more.
  • You know how to actually relax and have a good time. Genuinely a skill.
  • Your style. Every single time.
  • You are going to be a magnificent mother one day.

One correction

The thing you get wrong

You don't see your own value. Your ingenuity. What you actually contribute to a room. You're quick to be hard on yourself, and quicker to believe it when somebody else is hard on you.

You forget how capable you are. You forget you're allowed to want something enormous and then go and take it. You forget your own beauty. You forget to spend some of that care on yourself — on your body, on your time, on your no.

You'll go past your own limit to make other people comfortable, and you do it from love, which makes it hard to argue with. I'm going to keep arguing with it anyway.

Choose yourself more. In every room, in every conversation. And until you do it on your own — I'll be here, reminding you what you actually are.

The part that isn't a highlight reel

What we're working on

Neither of us wants a gift that only tells the flattering half. We already talk about these — here they are anyway, small, written down, out in the open.

Mine

Trusting myself. Trusting the process while it's still unfolding. Not letting the lowest feeling in the room speak for me when I know the highest one is also true.

Yours

Confidence in yourself. Trust in other people. Letting things go — and keeping the intensity to a size we can both carry.

Ours

Making the good, peaceful, deliberately special moments instead of the dramatic ones. Giving each other room to process and come back better. Patience while we bridge two cultures and two histories.

What I'm committing to

To keep exploring this with the judgement put down and my own triggers handled. To move as though this all works out in the end — because that's the only honest way to find out whether it does. Whatever happens, no regrets. I'm seeing this through, come whatever.

Here's to three more months and beyond — of getting closer, and becoming better, together.

Thank you for everything so far. I'm afraid, and I'm present, and I'm happy to be with you.

ΚΑΙ ΤΩΡΑ — And now

This domain is yours

You asked me for help building something of your own. Somewhere in the middle of making this, I realised I was building the first version of it.

So: this isn't a gift with an expiry date, a page that goes stale by October. It's a place, and it's in your name.

Put SoulMark here — the work of helping founders bring their brands to life, which you talk about like a someday and which I'm fairly sure is a soon. Put your paintings here, the ones you make when you remember to. Put your voice here, and the four languages it works in. Put your CV here if you want the world to be able to check. Put the acting here — I know you don't yet see the road to it. A page isn't a road. But it's a door, and doors have a way of being useful.

Put your Why here. That's the part most people leave out, and it's the part that makes someone stay on a page.

Whatever you want, whenever you want it. I'll build exactly what you ask for and none of what you don't.
